Just to let you all know, I am not into killing anything that I do not intend to eat. Alligator makes a fine meal. The rest is for the challenge and the excitement. Don't need to prove my manliness to anyone.

I have 3 responses to the post above:

1. You're assuming he's doing it to be manly. Some people in this country are poor enough that they hunt to eat.

2. At least he's sporting; it's an animal that CAN fight back, and with a bow, I'd say the fight is in the alligator's favor.

3. It's not different morally than you eating a burger; you're just paying somone to kill the animal and do the dirty work. He's willing to do it himself.

Are you in Fla. plenty of gators. They have a hunting season now for gators. Call the Fla. Wild life Gm,. Control. etc. Pem

I don't know where you are located, but this is a place that is well worth going to. Deer hunting, quail, gator, fishing, the works. Been there many times.

YES... but I won't tell you because I have a real 'thing' about the sensless killing of reptiles that are almost as old as the U.S. just so someone can feel 'manly'.
