One thing that has helped that problem with myself is eating more fiber in my diet. I eat Fiber One cereal every morning, and eat 2-3 apples everyday. I rarely get "episodes" now. I would also keep a diary of what you're eating. It's important to see if it could be food related. Hope this helps!

This could be caused by several different things.
First a new medication that your system is having trouble with. Second any added stressors you are not dealing with very well and Finally too much sugar or fiber in your diet. If you can rule all of these out then you should see a doctor and rule out illness.
Also to avoid aggrevating the condition try a diet of Bananas , Rice , Apples and dry Toast. It is called the BRAT diet and is used in hospitals when the pt. has this problem it doesn't irritate the GI tract .

YOU NEED TO IMMEDIATELY GO TO THE DR.!!!! This happened to me 2 years ago, and ignoring it almost lead to serious colon damage. The doctor told me that first of all, diarrhea is the body's way of telling you that something is wrong. Whether it's somethiing you ate or a virus, something is wrong. Second, it should NEVER last more than 3 days. After 3 days, you should seek help from a doctor. Your body is trying to tell you something!

A month is too long! It is time to see a doctor. There are some very serious bacterial infections - like Salmonella, there are parasites that you can catch from travel outside the US, there are conditions like irritable bowel syndrome - there are food allergies. - even something like AIDS can be accompanied with chronic diarrhea. This is something that you need to have addressed with your physician so that you can start feeling better soon.

Whoahhhhh can we say, GO TO THE DOCTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Man it sounds like you have irritable bowel syndrome, or you have a bacterial infection in your intestines. Eat yogurt and taking pepto bismal will help. But GO TO THE DOCTOR, you can become seriously dehydrated when you have diarreah.

You have persistent diarrhea. May be it is due to a parasite, Giardia Lamblia. Get your stool tested. Meanwhile, drink plenty of fluids such as ORS, plain drinking water, home made lemonade, liquid yogurt, thin soups, etc. Eat yogurt, rice, bananas, apples.

I would suggest you start taking Shaklee's Optiflora (totally natural) at least twice a day. I think this will really help you.

Best Wishes

it could be diet, stress, dehydration, diabetes, intestinal problems, a stomach ulcer. diarrhea for a month is a pretty serious thing believe it or not, and is something that should defiantly get checked out.

I'm thinking that you may be eating to much fiber or drinking too much water. If not, you may want to talk with a doctor.
