I don't get it. When someone proposes you get ring. Then what happens at the wedding do you get another one? Please h elp?

The engagement ring is usually more flashy and a little bigger. The wedding band is more understated. Usually they are a matching set so they look nice when you wear the engagement ring and the wedding band together.

Generally, you get the engagement ring at the proposal and the wedding band at the wedding ceremony. However, some do purchase an "all-in-one" ring that is both the engagement and wedding ring/band. You just take it off before the ceremony and use it for the exchanging of the rings.
