My wife has a rare condition which requires that she minimize TYROSINE, an amino acid component of many proteins.

What SPECIFIC foods are HIGHEST in tyrosine?

We've been told, as a start: Avoid nuts, all milk & dairy products, etc. What else?

Any web references would be great!

Rather than type in a bunch of information, I'll let the facts speak for themselves. This is an excellent source of information; it should tell you everything you need.

Tyrosine, which is produced in the body from phenylalanine, is found in soy products, chicken, turkey, fish, peanuts, almonds, avocados, bananas, milk, cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese, lima beans, pumpkin seeds, and sesame seeds.
