It seems to me that there are two sorts of people who post here, by and large: (1) people who ask questions to provoke their ideological opponents, and (2) people who are genuinely seeking to learn, and should be doing it by sitting in a chair reading a book. Atheists here seem totally ignorant of philosophically cogent theism; Christians here seem completely unacquainted with the real existential and theological challenges of atheism.

Then the question is on any given day do I want to do research or do I want to respond to humans around me with varying degrees of information and IQ's. Sometimes I do the research. Sometimes I do not. Sometimes I just want to share what I already know. Another factor is the people who just want someone to do their research for them. And another factor is that not real existential and theological answers are the right or appropriate ones. Many people would be bored by the LONG answers.
"And that's all I'm gonna say about that."

I think it's difficult to measure someones IQ level with a quick sound bite of an answer(type bite?).

Also there are various age groups represented here. Lastly there is varying interest in the questions posed. For instance I just gave a silly answer to a paranoid question. If you only read that one answer of mine you might write me off as abysmally silly.

You can't expect everyone to know all the angles. I believe that's the whole point to his section. That, and most people are either looking for the argument... or just out to have fun in here. This isn't exactly the place to get That serious.

Two very important concepts are generally ignored on here, Tolerance and Respect. People seem more interested in using this tool as a pulpit, regardless of their faith or lack there of.

A man will give up peace, love, sanity and even their life just to be right.
