I like to think that it's possible and that once you pass, there's more to just being in a box underground. I wouldn't mind coming back as an animal, especially a bird.
During a drunk night, a few friends and I came up with...once you die, the minute you're physically considered to be gone, you immediately are heading for, and making it to this bright light. You move slowly at first, then fast, then...BAM...the light is the delivery room and you're starting over, you just don't know it yet. Your memory is "erased" and you begin life again as a new person...someone's newborn baby. However, every once in awhile, the process of "erasing" one's memory doesn't go as planned, and we have these people that we consider "crazies" who say that they knew who they were in a past life. We drank a lot that night.
I do think that there is a higher being out there somewhere. The way Earth came together and humans and the human mind evolved is too complex to be coincidental in my mind. We think about death and wonder what happens in the end, and too many people have a hard time believing that once it's over--it's over. I guess we'll all find out one of these days.

There are spiritual schools of thought that believe that our spirit-ghost-lifeforce-soul is a type of energy and since the Law of Matter and Energy states that "Matter and energy can not be destroyed, only transformed", then that may be the basis for beliefs in reincarnation. I don't know if it's possible but if it were, I think I'd like to come back as an eagle, maybe because they're so beautiful and powerful and can fly free, with no cares.

i have mixed feelings about reincarnation for a few reasons
i have proof of spirit returning via mediumship readings and i do wonder if they reincarnate then how do they return and also past life regression can open up a whole can of worms about where this information has came from or if it is simply imaginary due to problems experienced in this life .. however i am starting to believe that reincarnation is a choice for spirit , they may not all want to or need to for whatever reason ( lessons etc ) so although i have heard some wonderfully fascinating stories about reincarnation i don't feel that it is as common as people think

I believe in reincarnation. It just makes more sense to me than being judged when you die and spending eternity in that one place. I agree with what Sylvia Browne says. She says that before a person is born, their spirit agrees to a life path. The spirit comes to Earth to learn a lesson so they can grow spiritually. Everything is laid out beforehand and agreed upon before being born. Our conscious minds forget about the agreement, but our spirits don't. We live our lives the best we can. When it is our time to go, we go back home to Heaven. Our spirit spends some time analyzing what happened on Earth. If we choose to, we can come back again to either refine that lesson or to work on a new one. Some spirits choose to come back and others choose to stay in Heaven.
I love this way of thinking because it means that our spirits are constantly growing and evolving. We do not stop simply because our one chance is over. We get to come back again and again to keep learning more.

Yes, because I don't believe God would damn a soul to all eternity. Not even Hitler's. God has an infinite amount of compassion and forgiveness. Plus, I don't buy the theory that there are billions of people "living" in heaven. As far as what I'd like to be when I return, I hope I will be a better person, less materialistic and more altruistic.

Yes I do. I have two, very vivid and "verified" by others same experience, reincarnations. The catholic church did also until the fifth ecumenical council, held in Constantinople in the year 533 AD.

Yea, I do. It's in the wiccan religion, saying that after you die you are reincarnated. Interesting, really. And as for coming back...idk...a house cat, so I can lay around all day and no nothing!

i believe in reincarnation. the idea makes sense to me. sometimes i get the feeling i've known someone in a past life. and i think i know what i was in a couple past lives. you don't get to choose what you come back as...that depends on how you've lived your life.

Nope, but some people think rats are sacred cause they will reincarnate to them! Get the mouse traps!

Yes, my whole family being witch's. we believe in reincarnation big time. I'm looking forward to my next life, and hoping I can remember some from my past. My whole family believes in it. You fear death less when you know your having another chance at life. Maybe to do better next time. :)
