i am out of milk, what could i use instead of milk in Mac and cheese?!?!?! please help! i am desperate!

a little water. Basically you just need the liquid to make your cheese creamy. Add more butter and a little water - you won't even taste the difference.

If you are making it out of a box just add more butter. If making it from scratch use evaporated milk. If the recipe calls for let's say half a cup of milk you would use a 1/4 cup evaporated milk with 1/4 cup water and it's like using regular milk.

Are you making it from scratch or the box. Last time I was out of milk, I just added the real cheese to the hot noodles and stirred my butt off. I actually like it better. Do you have any Velveeta at home?

maybe just some extra butter and a little water. You don't have to use tht much milk any way so hopefully that will help. If you have small babies maybe formula? Or see if you have condensed milk in the cubbord.

You can use water, but your mac/cheese will look funny- oily.... or was that the time I ran out of butter?
It should be ok, whatever you use..

chicken stock/broth for more flavor than water.
or sour cream thinned with a bitter of water?
Keep some powdered milk on hand, it keeps longer than liquid.

cream if you have it but when i run out of milk and i make Kraft dinner i just put more butter of margarine in it.

I tried making it with plain water once, and it was pretty bad. :(

you could just use water, it wont taste as good but it'll work i've done it before myself
