You are actually following the teachings of Paul. So you should call your religion Paulism. And Paul was a hateful bastard.

The only difference between Scientology and Christianity (Paulism) is that Scientology's lunatic founder was born a couple of millenia later.

Most Christians never question where the bible came from.

You are correct that the vast majority of Christians are following Paul, not Jesus. And, Paul has been referred to more than once as the "anti-Christ."

First of all, where did you get this from?
I understand your point of people following what Paul left behind. But you need to understand where he got the entire idea. Your defense shows me that you are not fluent in scripture and that you have a lot to learn about Christianity as a whole. Understand who Paul was before he became a Christian. Paul was literally on the hunt for Christians to kill them. That's what his job was. But something powerful changed not only his way of thinking but also his entire lifestyle. Only the power of God could change the such behaviour. Also understand Paul's perspective on his teachings. If our religion should be known as "Paulism" as you wrongfully put it, it would glorify Paul, not Christ. Paul's purpose was not to gain merit with his followers but to lead them to a higher calling with the Lord. Understand that the teachings of Paul were spoken of by Jesus Christ before He died. Paul's job was to prove to the Jews that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. (Acts 9:20-22) How does that then make our religion "Paulism"? it's kind of like your grade 8 math teacher. They are fluent in their material and even their persoanl methods of getting their points across, but does that make them the developers of mathematics? Of course not. Personally I understand why you would develop such an argument but you clearly lack the fundamentals of what we base Christianity upon.
I suggest that you read the bible thoroughly and then form arguments because currently you lack the background knowledge.

Sorry that you are so bitter and burned. But as a Christian who became born again and was dramatically changed by the Holy Spirit did so before I ever read Paul. I truly believe that the bible is the inspired Word of God and that includes the writings of Paul, Peter, Luke, the disciples, etc. I remember once I was reading Romans, written by Paul, and I said outloud, Paul, I can not understand what you are saying here and the Holy Spirit spoke to my mind and said, why are you asking Paul, why don't you ask me as I'm the one who gave it to Paul. And I did and He helped me.
Now, Scientology, that is a tool of the devil. In that philosophy, it is not a religion, they do not believe in God, sin, afterlife, etc. No comparison. It is stricly a self-centered teach which only puts emphasis on one's self and makes one his own god.

Jesus's teachings are the bulk of Christianity. Paul basically answered questions posed to him by the churches about moral issues and leadership, guided by the Holy Spirit ( the third person of the Trinity ) So all these teachings came from the same source.

are you a Christian?...Have you studied and do you study the Bible?....I thought not...so what makes you an authority on whose teachings we are following?.....you speak a bunch of junk and don't have the slightest clue of what you are saying...and the reason I can say that is because if you had any kind of knowledge of the Bible then you would know that what you just said was one of the most asinine things ever spoken on this forum....please until you know what you are talking about stick to something you do have a clue about and then ask questions....quit embarrassing yourself.

Paul was an apostle called by Jesus to preach the word.

I'm not surprised he comes under so much attack....since he gave us many of the books that comprise most of the new testament.

Now...let's see....who would want to undermine a servant of God and one who delivers the message of God to the people?

Hmmmmm.

Hello Satan! So what are you doing these days? Working as a Janitor trying to spout some facsimile of wisdom? Needs A LOT of work. An awful LOT.

While Paul gives lots of detailed instruction about how to live from day to day, Christianity would exist without his writings.

Jesus lived and died and resurrected to fulfill scripture. THAT'S what Christianity is really about.

There are plenty of arguements and debats people could have about religion. Like I said before, you believe what you believe and each individual believes what they believe. You can't change that nor get that answers from a website. Go play with your kids.

Deep down they know. But it is denial of the truth that keeps the religion alive. Is that why everyone got so mad when John compared the Beatles to Jesus?
