If you are a spirit, and you have a soul and you live in a body, then unless you have seen your spiritman, you have never really seen yourself. The mind, intellegence, character and will, is the soul and you can't see that either. You can only see what manifest out of your flesh condition and that is not totally visable. In other words you may see your character acting our in conversation, but that only is in the moment of manifestation. Not you, because you are not your character, you have one.
So why don't you believe in God just because you haven't seen Him? You ain't seen YOU either, have ya?...........Gotcha

Wow! I love that analogy, very unique. I've never thought of it in quite that way before. Thanks for the fresh perspective! Love it! I will keep on trying to see myself though, my true self, through meditation and prayer.

Not everyone believes in a soul either though. Some merely say that our personalities are created by chemical reactions in the brain and that there is no eternal and undying spirit in us.

Gotcha ????

Who says I'm a spirit? Not me - end of discussion.

That's the most convoluted piece of psuedo logic I've seen today.

congratulations

I believe in God/Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ.
I think when you look in the mirror you see yourself.
But I think you have to look at your actions.
What is important isnt seeing ourselves its us showing
spiritual examples to others.
I dont care what my spirit looks like, Heavenly Father does and that is all that matter to me.
We are what we make ourselves.
see ya
