If you feel that your friends are boring, it only means that you are no more interested in things that they are interested in. Your choices and preferences have changed. so even giving cue cards will not help bcoz what interests you may not interest them, as your likes are different. The best possible way to deal without hurting is spend some time casually to maintain your old friends and also make some like minded people as friends. Then you will find them interesting. It's not their fault that they're boring and I hardly think giving them cue cards will REALLY help coz it'll make them feel bad about themselves. Plus, put yourself in their shoe, do you think you'll genuinely be thankfuL?
