I don't think that it is ok to slap a girl back, despite if she slapped you first. However if you are a girl, yeah, it may turn out to be a cat fight. If you are a guy, be the bigger man, and just walk away or do something EXCEPT slapping her back. It just is NOT right. Trust me on this, my parents and ex's were very abusive and I think I can help with this and say....DON"T SLAP if you are a guy. But then again what did you do to her in the first place for her to have to slap you in the face first? Look at that, then look at it how a girl would have taken it and then decide.

Hey I'd say it depends on whether you know her.....and whether you're talking about a playful slap or an agressive one. If random ***** slaps you for some stupid reason on the street....slap her back. If her boyfriend isn't around anyway :D If you get slapped for being a lil too aggressive in a club....take it like a man. It will be much better for you. If it's a playful one be careful how you do it back (why do you think they call it "***** slap"....you have to slap like a *****). Finally....if said woman is your wife/GF...I would save the slapping for her ***. And she may not like that either...be careful.

Reading the responses, most of you are so full of it. What happens to your much touted equality? Only when its to your advantage?
If a guy, don't go full force to knock her out, but give her tit for tat. That's often the only way they get the message. Or drop her like a hot cake. What lousy behavior!
What made her slap you may make a difference, BTW. But some will slap you for anything or nothing. NOT acceptable girls (and not only not very smart, - it is considered battery, which is against the law, - but would also make me question your upbringing)

I don't think there's ANY justification for slapping you in the first place...that's how nuclear wars get started:)). Honestly, can you take it and laugh? can you get slapped and just smile? Did you ******* deserve it? No, person, eye-for-an-eye is a very Sith or radical Muslim line of thinking. Just take the slap and either admit you ****** up, or tell her she's out of line, and threaten to call the cops if she does it again(hopefully she'll leave a hand-print on your face for proof when the cops do arrive, even so, they'll probably laugh your *** back in the house).

The thing is, she shouldnt be slapping you in the first place, but, slapping back isnt a good idea because the strength between men & women are allot diff, you could seriously hurt her! Grab her arm in resistance maybe.

I'd say, dont allow yourself to be in that position. The girl shows immaturity and lack of adult self control!

ha, are you serious? It is not okay for a girl toslap a guy, and it's not okay for a guy to slap a girl basically. My boyfriend and I get into those roll around wrestle matches all the time, and if I kick him, he kicks me back, of course he always ends of hurting me since I am a lot smaller than him, but you get the point. There is such a stigma about this topic though, guys are always supposed to be gentlemen you know.

Fcuk yea. This is the 21st century. Women want to be treated like equals. If she wants to slap someone who is stronger than her (regardless of whether that person is a male or female), then she should be prepared to receive the consequences of getting slapped back.

Gender Equality goes both ways.

If you are a male NO!! If you are a female and you want to lower your self to her standards then yes slap her of course I prefer the closed hand slap better known as a punch.
