A small bouquet or if there are any charities the family has made an option for donating to is appropriate.
A sympathy or condolence card is also acceptable.

Send some food. Food is so needed when someone dies. Send them a large muffin basket or a cheese and meat basket. Dont bother with the flowers. What a waste of money, and they just create more work, when they wilt and the petals and crap falls off. Help them out and send them some food to feed the numerous relatives and friends that are in town and eating up all their food, seriously. Its so good to get food contributions, when someone dies. It can be devastating financially to have to feed all thsoe people.

No flowers... send a potted plant (it will last a lot longer) or a fruit/food basket. Either way, send a condolense card.

no sweetie, you weren't incorrect in doing this. in certainty it became into suited. Your spouse will see later how undesirable she reacted to your love and thoughtfulness. i think of for her she could nevertheless be offended approximately her fathers passing. We do have a tendency to take out our thoughts on those we like the main. i think of it is all she is doing. i understand there are steps to healing, i do no longer understand what all of them are or what order there in yet i understand that anger is taken under consideration one of them and its between the 1st steps you circulate by in mourning. As problematic because it must be, you may basically wait and see together with her. It sounds very very such as you adore her or perhaps nonetheless its going to be problematic on you to, basically stand beside her, enable her scream, yell, cry and circulate exterior and hit a tree if she needs, basically understand that this would be a step in healing, it gets greater effective. As for the flowers, in some days, if no longer quicker, she will understand what she did. She knows you in straightforward terms despatched them with the terrific suggestions at coronary heart! solid success

when someone in our department died, most of our vendors sent us flowers. we thought that was very nice. i'm thinking flowers would be the best gift to send in this situation.

A clients ....Bosses....wife.....you are too far removed for anything other than a card.
The client should send flowers but have you even met the boss or his wife. if not then just a card will do.
