not all men don't care about the same things women do. Even if you don't though, as you said, women and men are different and just as you expect women to keep that in mind, you should do the same. But consider this, if you have a girl, and you love her, why not indulge her sometimes and give her validation for whatever it is you think is not important, at least some of the time. Doing so will help make her feel a lot better about just about everything. And no, it's not because we're bored. We really do consider those things important.

Men and women are different, and complement each other.
Women can't understand how men can spend hours upon hour watching sports, but can't take 3 minutes in a mall.
Men can't understand why women can spend hour upon hour at the mall or Pottery Barn, but can't take 3 minutes in a hardware store.

But all of the above are generalities, which are never accurate. Each man and woman are unique, and want different things. I know woman who love sports and men who don't mind going to the mall.

If a woman gets mad about something, it's a sure bet that she doesn't consider it a small thing. Women are often more in touch with their feelings, and something you consider small, such as a white lie or forgetting her favorite color, can be very important to your spouse. These things can make a woman feel like you don't pay attention to them, which can make them upset.

In any case, men can't understand women, women can't understand men. It has nothing to do with boredom.

Yes, women care about the little things, but a lot of men do as well. I mean, when you mention to your S.O. (significant other) that you wanna learn to play guitar once (never mentioning it again) and a few months later for your birthday you get a nice guitar, you probably would feel like, woah she remembered! If you;re talking about hanging the towel instead of leaving it wet and on the bed, of course it drives us up the wall. stop being such a pig. I would say it depends on what they are getting mad about. Usually if my gf gets mad over something small I just let her vent and then its over with so no big deal. I do find that my gf and I do care about many of the same things, so I guess I'm in the minority.

It has nothing to do with boredom...it does have a lot to do with the fact that many women and men STILL don't understand that the opposite sex is just not wired the same as they are...(in general) guys are more logical/practical/fix-it kind of people...women are more emotional/sensitive/communication-oriented kind of people...

Plenty of wome though, are perfectly kewl with guys not liking what we like...and the guys are usually kewl with us not liking what they like...

The sexes need to spend a bit of time at least attempting to understand the other, and not expect the other to be as they are...we just weren't designed to be...

No seriously, real women understand that men don't care about Manolo Blahniks or Estee Lauder facial moisturizer or what color I just painted my toes....just like we don't care about how much horsepower is under the hood or who has the better RBI average or what your handicap is golfing! I think that you need to not clump us all into one category. I don't get mad about a lot of things, and my boyfriend thinks it's weird. He would rather have be get mad about stuff than not get mad! He thinks it shows that I care, and that I am emotional about things, but I am just laid back, so he is going to have to deal with it. :) So how about you reword your question and ask it to girls who are actually like that! :)
