Yes. I was younger. Now I prefer a hotel. I stayed in one in Paris & Rome. If you are going to Rome, watch out for thieves.

Its a cheap alternative if you are traveling on a strictly limited budget.

yes the big apple one in NYC in times square it was only $30 a night. I was in a room with a girl from China and it was her first day in the country! I was actually impressed it was cleaner than I had imagined. We slept in bunkbeds.
