I have color-treated hair (both lowlights and highlights). My hair is also very thick, wavy, frizzy, and somewhat unruly. I try to straighten it every day. What is the best shampoo and conditioner I could be using? Thanks.

I am going to school to be a Cosmetologist and I would recomend that you try Redken Smoothing Products and watch your hot iron that you use because it can make your hair worse with bleached highlights. I also have very thick hair and i use these products and I dont have to use a hot iron. Also try from Redken Climatress (moist ends). Hope that helps GOOD LUCK!!

I would recomment using the "Chi" products. They have several to chose from. Try the shampoo and treatment (conditioner) and the ifra treatment (apply when wet) and the Flat Iron protection spray (apply before you flat iron)! All the Chi products are made for their Chi iron (which I also highly recommend) so they will help prevent and protect your hair. These really are the best products out there for flat ironed hair!

There are different products: Bed Head, Friz-eze, Pantene Pro V, and occasionally use Suave shampoo.
