Well to bake a potatoe quickly i'd suggest the microwave, but it tastes nothing like a potatoe that sat in the oven in foil for an hour or two. REcipes? the potatoe is like a taco, you put whatever you like on it.
you can try this
Microwave your potatoe for ten minutes, continue to bake at 400 for another 30 min, cut it in half, scoop out most of the meat so you end up with a "boat"
take the meat you scooped out, mix with real butter, garlic, salt , pepper to taste, some would add a teaspoon of sour cream here, i dont. after you've blended all that pour your mixture back into the potatoe boat, and back into the oven for fifteen min. YOu've now got some great tasting twice baked potatoes. i dont know anyone who doesnt love these.

Rub vegetable oil completely over potato. Then cook in microwave for 8 to 10 minutes, depending on size of potato. I cannot tell the difference in a baked potato cooked this way or in the oven.

Microwave. Pierce the skin in several places, then depending upon the size of the potato, set the timer for anywhere from 10-20 minutes. Or if you have a gas grill, wrap the potato in aluminum foil.

Wrap it in a plastic bag and put it in the microwave for about 5 minutes (or until it begins to soften). Then put it in the oven at 425 degrees. The microwaving will cut about an hour off the baking time.

Cook the potato in a microwave oven usually minutes and finish cooking in the oven or on a barbecue. Experiment a bit and you will be able to cook them the way you like best.

Prick it in a few places and put it on top of a paper towel in the microwave for about 10 minutes (depending on the size) or until it is soft when pricked with the fork.

you can wrap it in foil and poke holes in it and bake it for 45 min. or so, or you can poke holes in it and wrap it in a paper towel and put it in the microwave. there are usually potato buttons on the micro. if not, then about 6 min. or so. I prefer th oven, but the micro. is faster.

in the microwave. if you have a rotisserie, 2 1/2 to four minutes a side. when you take it out (caution its hot) wrap in aluminum foil and it will keep cooking, and be ready to eat in 15-20 minutes.
