Hi cutiepie I hope you had a really fun trip to Virginia.

You're right, Max is angry at you. And he's going to be upset when you go away again.

You're going to have to be extra nice to him to get back in his favor. Spend time with him. If he doesn't want to cuddle with you, show him that you're willing to cuddle with him. If you see him lying down, sit next to him and pet him. If he has favorite treats, be sure to give him a few extra. You're going to have to go out of your way to be extra nice to Max for two or three weeks. He'll eventually recognize you as the nice person in his life, and someone who will not desert him. Be patient and kind, and you'll win him back!

Your Cat Missed You. Give Your Cat Time To Get Used To Again.

He is just a little peeved at you for being gone so long so he has to act like he is mad at you, but its hard for him because he missed you and wants your attention. Just let him run the show, he will be back to normal in no time.

Oh, he'll get over it. He is just mad at you for leaving him. My cat acts weird after I leave him for a while. But, within a few days he is back to his old self. Just keep giving him attention and he will come back around.

Since you weren't there to sleep with, he just got into different habits while you were gone. Don't take it personally, cats do that. Just continue to be loving with him, and I'll bet he'll pick up his old ways again.

I notice when I'm gone even for a couple of days my cats are excited to see me but kind of nervous because they are afraid that if I leave it might be a couple of days till I get home. give it time.

sometimes when were gone from our animals for a long period like that it takes a while for them to get back use to us they also think if gone for a long period of time that we abandon them and kennels arent to well either if he was in a kennel he has gotten use to being alone probely locked in a cage just give him time show him alot more attention and afection if you want him to lay with you maybe kinda hold him beside u rub his furr and he will eventally be back to layin with you at night god luck

nothing. he'll come around again. cat's are like that. It takes them time to reacquaint themselves to you. They're not like dogs, who will jump on you and lick you to death if they even remotely recognize you. Cats are far more cautious than that. Giving him too much attention or forcing him to cuddle will scare him off or upset him. They own us, really.
