I am using the perfect pair theme... It's a fall wedding and I am using pear's in the flower arrangements with my invitations and giving away little pear candle's to everyone as well as a bottle of wine.
Here are some other themes I found on the web. What theme you have sometime's depends on what time of the year you have your wedding. So keep the in mind too!
The Garden Wedding Theme - The garden theme is a great summer concept for any bride.
Victorian Garden Delight - Serve up some crumpets, tea and Victorian old world charm in this Victorian garden wedding theme.
Sand and Surf Wedding Theme
Midsummer Night's Dream Wedding - Recreate Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream as your wedding theme. Perfect for an outdoor woodland setting or tudor style building.
On the Wings of a Butterfly Wedding Theme
Butterfly weddings have become very popular over the last few years.

My finance and I are getting married in Jamaica and hosting a reception when we come back to Maryland. B/c we are getting married on the beach, we are doing a tropical/beach theme. I've found all kinds of decorations involving seashells and palm trees. I thought it would be fun for our guest to wear flowered shirts and dresses (all types of tropical clothing b/c it's a casual reception). And the food that we will be serving is traditional, but we also are incorporating Jamaican cuisine. Good luck with planning

Until and unless we know as what type of people the couple are we can't suggest. Even their family background and most important is the crowd that will be there on the wedding is important. Without these informations please don't expect any good answers.

Well,as I live in Florida,l we had a civi war wedding, and got married in St. Augustine,FL. We dressed in the appropriate garb, and it was really fun, although not too comfy for the women. I even wore petticoats and a corset, boots, the whole thing.

i think of butterflies is an extremely captivating theory! For centerpieces, my theory is tree branches (the two elementary or flowering) in sparkling glass vases and you will upload paper butterflies to the branches. i think of that should fairly supply the room a paranormal sense. i would not do a butterfly launch. Its merciless to the butterflies, and a few people are freaked out via issues flying all around them. looks great in video clips, yet not very useful.

I saw a pirate themed wedding on a wedding show...it wasn't stupid either, more the romantic side of it, the clothes, the antique trunks with coins and jewels.

If its around a hoilday you could go with that theme. Or seasonal. Winter wedding...winter wonderland... have snowflakes and snow fluff and silver stars.

Find something in common with you and your soon to be hubby and expand upon that. Me and my beau both love vampires so we could do a vampire theme wedding. Reds, blacks, Red velvet cake..etc!

Is you wedding going to be around a holiday? If so, you could follow a holiday theme.
Or you could go seasonal.
Or go with a color or hobby theme.
