They do make dogie diapers for this problem, unfortunately what is natural in nature for our animals annoyes people so we invent ways to make nature conform to our comforts.

Check at the local pet store, they have doggy diapers, and pads for just that reason. If you're better have is in a snit about a little blood, what is he going to do when she has a litter of pups, and there is puppy pee and poo? lol Good luck.

I think they have doggie pads...call your vet. You know, just because a dog is from a good pedigree, it does not mean she should be bred.

Breeding is tough and many people don't realize what can be involved. And if your hubbie is being annoyed at what is going on now, pups will not be easier.
Think seriously before you do this.

They have things called "puppy pads" its like a diaper that you put on your in heat female and keeps the bleeding away from your floors. You can get them at your local pet store.

There are pads for dogs that are similar to sanitary napkins that females use. I'm not really sure how easy they are to find, but they do exist. They are specifically for the purpose you need it for.

Doggie pads at petco...petsmart...etc.

Remember, the longer she is not spayed, the more likely she is to develop breast cancer and such.
