All Bran is very high fiber and most non-soluble. Take a small dish, put some All-Bran in it with a cup of water. You will see it make a rather stiff mass. Now do the same with Oat Bran. This is 1/2 soluble and 1/2 non-soluble. It forms a softer mass. If you try this with plain Oatmeal, you will see an even softer mushy mass. I could have avoided upper and lower bariums, a couple seigmoidoscopies and a couple colonoscopies, by eating the way I do now. Every day for breakfast I have about 2 cups of Cheerios and skim milk. Cheerios are 1/3 soluble. Immediately after eating, I drink 8 ounces of water and take vitamins. I think you will find something in the oat family kinder to your stomach. Good luck.

I have never heard of someone having a stomach ache from fiber, but that does not mean that it is not impossible. If you have had cereal before then I would say no. Sometimes milk can upset your stomach, especially if you have not had it for a very long time.
If you really have a concern and the stomach ache does not go away, you should see a healthcare professional just to be on the safe side.

Assuming you are an adult or someone big enough to use the internet, you probably have had wheat in your diet before. But All Bran cereal is super high in fiber. And the serving size is really small. Much smaller than most of us pour into our cereal bowl.
My bet is that you're bloated and maybe gassy. It's all that fiber hitting you at one time. You ate too much. If you need the fiber to help keep things "moving" then have two small servings a day...but spread them out.
****There are a lot of people who are gluten intollerant. Check it out...look it up. It's interesting. Glutens are in all breads, oatmeal, wheat, bran, etc.

No, All-Bran is so high in fiber that your body is probably not used to it. Did you drink enough liquids during the day? That's very important when you have a lot of fiber.
