What greater reward could you get than being allowed entrance to Heaven?

Actually, having said that, I now remember that there are different circles in Heaven as there are in Hell (according to Dante, anyway) which could be considered "rewards"

This comes from Wikipedia:
Souls are allotted to the point of heaven that fits with their human ability to love God. Thus, there is a heavenly hierarchy, but everyone is satisfied with their post, because they understand the fact that they are not capable of any greater experience.

The nine spheres are:

First Sphere: The moon - those who abandoned their vows. Dante meets Piccarda, sister of Dante's friend Forese Donati, who died shortly after being forcibly removed from her convent. Beatrice discourses on the freedom of the will, and the inviolability of sacred vows.
Second Sphere: Mercury - those who did good out of a desire for fame. Justinian recounts the history of the Roman Empire. Beatrice explains to Dante the atonement of Christ for the sins of humanity.
Third Sphere: Venus - those who did good out of love. Dante meets Charles Martel of Anjou, who decries those who adopt inappropriate vocations, and Cunizza da Romano. Folquet de Marseilles points out Rahab, the brightest soul among those of this sphere.
Fourth Sphere: The sun - souls of the wise theologians, including Hostiensis (XII 82-85).
Fifth Sphere: Mars - those who fought for Christianity.
Sixth Sphere: Jupiter - those who personified justice.
Seventh Sphere: Saturn - the contemplative. For example, Monks are found here.
Eighth Sphere: The fixed stars - the blessed. Here, Dante is tested on faith by Saint Peter, hope by Saint James, and love by Saint John the Evangelist. Dante justifies his medieval belief in astrology that the power of constellations draw themself from God.
Ninth Sphere: The Primum Mobile ("Prime Mover") - angels.

All people will be judged according to their works (2 Corinthians 5:10; Revelation 20:12). Our lives will be compared to God's Word (John 12:48), and those who have not done as God commands (Matthew 7:12) will be found wanting.

The Bible doesn't say anything about "accepting Jesus as your savior" or "praying a little prayer." In fact, it clearly states that we are not saved by faith only (James 2:24), despite the fact that many teach exactly that. Throughout the book of Acts, people were told that they needed, not only to believe and to repent, but also to be baptized for the remission of their sins (Acts 2:38, 22:16; cf. 1 Peter 3:21).

When you accept Jesus as your savior, you get the reward of having your rational thought processes terminated and the world becomes much easier to live in then because you always have a fantasy escape route ready on standby.

11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God,[a] and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works

Rewarded for your works? Sure. (1 Cor chapter 3). Does your salvation depend on it? Absolutely not! Grace by faith.

Well, I do not know about rewards as we define it in current times.

But, I do know that what I do now to obey Gods word (works) will put jewels in my crown, that I will lay at my saviors feet.

When I was first saved, I was just so thankful to even have a crown to lay at his feet, that I was not even thinking of adding jewels.

As I grow and study and walk closer to God, I see that as I obey, the jewels are added without thought of them by me.
I see these "jewels" now as proof of my obedience to Gods word, and no longer think of them as some sort of competition, just a gift that I get to give back to the one who gave it to me in the first place.

Yes in deed, but no only on Glory we will be rewareded, God already have proven to many His reward here on earth. He has done that with me by saving me giving me liberty.

I believe that we will be rewarded for our deeds IF we have accepted Jesus. We will also be chastised by sharing His sorrow over our failures.

Of course you will be rewarded for the actions of this life, even people (like myself) who believe in "Justification by grace through faith" a.k.a. you don't have to do good deeds to get to heaven. believe your good deeds will be rewarded...consider "store up treasures in heaven"
