As far as them being charged for the passage. Well why should I pay for their fare home. They shouldn't be there in the middle east to begin with! But Coni waved the fee, so quit griping and if you can't say anything good about Our counrty then don't say anything or move somewhere else and see how you like it then!

Mr. Nixon Maybe we can take a collection up for you to help you go to another country! I work hard everyday and have all my life. Most Unions ruin companies. The people get spoiled and want the high paying jobs but when its time to earn it WELL thats another story! When they are to old to do the job,They won't retire and let a younger person take their spot!

Of course we have to ask _why_ those people were there in the first place.
They do someplace stupid like going to Lebanon - then demand that US military people risk their lives to rescue them.
Then they complain that we ask them to pay a nominal fee!

You know Corkie, I would give my left sperm factory for a one-way plane ticket to Germany, Switzerland, or Sweden and for citizenship in any of those countries, however it is not that easy. My nut isn't worth anything (that I know of) so I don't have the money to get over there. I live paycheck to paycheck, working a job that is so anti-union that they have their secret police monitor union activity and their participants. So you might want to acknowledge the fact that some people live here and don't like it and can't do anything except trying to improve things as best they can.
I think charging people to get them out of the country and then refunding the fee after a public outcry against it is nothing magnanimous.
I would also hardly agree we have the greatest country in the world. We have the highest murder rate of any industrialized nation in the world, we have one of the highest incarciration rates, an obvious system of racial profiling (****, China with all of their human rights abuses even pointed it out!), and we have one of the highest levels of poverty in any of the Industrialized nations. We are down their with Saudi Arabia. Freedom of speech is also quickly disappearing. Vlad Putin, the KGB thug who ruled over East Germany and is now president of Russia frequently points out how undemocratic and unfair our system is compared to Russia's heavily corrupt system.
I don't think the whole world is just "jealous" of us, I think they are trying to warn us.

It made me proud to see the Royal Navy(the most advanced navy in the world)evacuate British citizens.When it comes to the americans having to pay to get out of Lebanon well thats just normal for America(money grabbing losers)

I am with you!!! We do live in the greatest country in the world. We need to hear more on the good we are doing. I am not talking only in the war but the aid we do give to many countries. We need to hear how we protect our citizens.

Those people knew that that region has been fighting since the beginning of time...why were they there in the first place?!

absolutely!!!! Although I believe that Israel is doing the right thing, it still makes me really sad to think of all the innocent people caught up in this horrible conflict in the middle east
