I don't like it either, but it probably does serve to stop bacteria or invaders - haven't you ever had an ant crawl up your leg? Also, I think hair growh is encouraged by warm, moist areas on our bodies - otherwise, how would you explain hair under our arms - what good is that other than to annoy us?
