I would like your sister to know that she is not alone. There are many ladies that grow hair on the tummy. It is best to buy a hair removing cream and apply on the entire area with hair. These work well but it depends if the hair is tough then you might need to do twice. Plucking is ok but remember to put alcohol on it after plucking so the pores don't swell. She should only pluck the ones that she can grab with the tweezer not to mess with the ones that are still too short because she will only irritate the area and she does not want red spots all over her tummy. Watever you do don't have her shave becuase this will make the hair thicker and other fine hairs will start to grow aswell.

You are sweet to be so sensitive towards what your sister is embarrassed about. Depends on the amount of hair and where it is located. When I was a young teen and then a young adult I had hair that ran in a straight line from my belly button all the way down. And was too embarrassed to wear short tops or low riders. When I was 25 it just disappeared altogether and has never returned, why I don't know. You could try time, or a wax or save your pennies and go to a saloon to have the hair permanently
removed. Good luck.
Nicole: you are one insensitive person, I take it you do not have many true and loyal friends.

Don't know what the hell is wrong with Nicole, but that's perfectly natural.
If it bothers your sister, shaving or plucking will work, chemical depilatories like Nair will work, but all of those are temporary. Permanent solutions like laser or electric hair removal do cost a fair amount of money. Laser hair removal will probably cost $500-1000, for example.
Decisions like this might better be left for her to make herself when she's a little older.

Wax. Go to beauty supplies, get wax.
Heat wax and rub on belly.
Wait a moment for wax to get hard, then tear it off.
Painful, but effective. She'll probably have to do it once every couple of months
She can use tweezers to pluck the strays

Nair bikini line hair remover. Works wonders but make sure she spot checks to see if she has an allergic reaction to it. I know a lady that has hair on her upper lip and was continually teased about it. She now waxes it. OUCH!!

wax = painful but last for months
shave = you have to do more often, no pain, but can get red bumps
tweezers = time consuming, AND painful, but again lasts for months.
Nair = not painful and last for weeks. Prob the best answer for now seeing as she is so young, and the others have possible side affects.
Good luck!
Hope that helps.
