I don't think it's true that churches are 'full' of potential partners. As already mentioned, many of the men are already married and the younger singles tend to be in a minority.
And, when you're looking around for a dating partner, it's often a good idea to spread your wings a little and meet new people. The person you meet on a dating site may live just a few miles away but go to a different church and you'd never otherwise meet.
There's advice and information on Christian dating on this website.

Hi there, one answer may be that a church is not really the place to find a potential partner, sure you would all have something in common but im not sure the church its self is the right place

This is a typical characteristic with religion..accept everybody as they are as long as they have respect and compassion, I believe that but being christian does not make you any better than an atheist, it should not be an issue of what religion you are, why pigeon hole, society is already full of agendas, classes and types so try broadening the horizons.

Most churches are filled with married men and not a lot of single men to choose from.

Simply because most churches tend to constitute more women than men and the few men have already been married off.

it all has to do with ones pespection of things, character and taste.some find it non religious to ask someone out when you are in church they deem it heathen behaviour.some are scared of the response they will get and how it will look in front of the bretheren.and some are basically totaly sick n tirerd of being disapointed in the church.plus in church people are expected to be perfect which unfortunately is not real
