I think you answered your own question...simply tell her what you've explained here, that it is not a disaster to be single at 15 and you don't need to have sex when you are 16. Or if you have experiences of your own that you feel comfortable sharing with a 14 year old sister, use those as examples of stupid mistakes. I have two younger sisters and sometimes I do not know what to say, all you can do is do the best you can...and hope that they don't follow in the footsteps of a stupid tv show.

If you watch it with her you could just casually bring it up when something happens like 'oh that was a bad idea' or something. I don't know. I straight out had a talk with my sister about being smart and staying away from different things. I think sometimes coming from an older sibling is more effective than coming from a parent because they may be more comfortable talking to us and they know we were there more recently than their parents. Good luck!

Hide the TV cord. The only way to stop poisioning her point of view is to quit watching TV. I had to do the same thing with my son. He immitates everything, which isn't good. TV also made him more violent. After I did this, I saw a big improvement in his behaviors and the aggression eased up.

Try telling her "you will understand these soon".
Or may tell her "what you see is 'reel' life and not 'real' life"
