Hello..Please, bear in mind that if you constantly think of committing suicide always has reference in the overall mental state of the person. I don't think that there is something wrong or unadequate to seek for HELP, either from a shrink or just a good psychologyst. You have not marely to worry but to take measures right now..Please, visit at least a Counsellor ,your condition sounds like having severe depressive epysode, which must be treated accordingly. Best of luck!!

i am not gonna suggest u that you are a case of depression. if somebody commits suicide and have permanent signs of depression, then i can say that he or she is a case of depression. but be careful and do not hesitate to consult a good psychiatrist.
if there is an external issue like what you said, the chance of a mental disorder as an underlying cause of suicidal thinking is not high. but it seems to me that your mood is labile and swinging. and now you are not in a good mood and a little depressed. aren't you. this is not necessary a major depression. if you solve your problem in a logical way i am sure you will have a better control over your mood.
i hope you end up with a wise decision
i am an MD

I'll let you in on a little tip. Committing suicide is useless, because contrary to what you've been taught, you don't go to heaven or hell and you don't just die. You come right back here and have to go through it all again! So you might as well stick around and deal with the situation and work it out. ;)

You need to talk to a licensed professional about this. This is typically a sign of depression. And by the way, getting help does NOT make you a mental case. It just means that you need a little help handling the stress in your life. Perfectly normal.

My advice, seek professional help BEFORE YOU GET MARRIED! First you need to be sure you are in a good spot emotionally. If there is anything from your childhood, or adulthood that needs to be addressed, you should take care of that.

Second, tell your gf that you'll have to wait.

Best of luck to you. It must be tough to be in your shoes right now. Do let us know how you're doing, k?

Thoughts of suicide are very normal. But when you act on them, it can become dangerous. Why would you want to commit suicide?
