Can I just walk into my county DMV and get my license if I have been having my mom teach me and I am legally an 'adult'?

I am in Dallas, Texas and my mom has been using the Driver's Ed in a Box kit. With the kit, I know I don't have to take a test with a police officer, so I was just trying to figure out what my options are.

No, anyone in this state has to take the driving test to get their license I would think. I got my license when I was 19, had to take the driving test like anyone else.

You still have to take the road test here in Texas.

Not in Indiana. No matter how old you are, you have to take both a written test and a drive test first.

It depends on the state. You will have to take some kind of test I'm sure.
