You don't unless he has said it already, if not you can wait for him to say it orsay it, and he may respond the same, afterwards see if he says it, if he does well you know if he doesn't well you know.

depending on the relationship, this can be answered so many ways. If you haven't been together for very long (under a year) I wouldn't ask that question. He may feel that you are pressuring him and leave the situation and/or relationship. If it is over a year and he hasn't said it yet, well basically just ask him if your in his future, does he see you guys being together for a long time or not. Sometimes guys have a problem saying the L word, so just try and evaluate the way he reacts to the question. Also evaluate the things he has done for you in the past, and his actions towards you.
Good luck, and just remember things do not have to be said in order for it to be true.

Don't ask him exactly like that because this might create a turning point in you relationship!
If you have doubts about his love, try something like this:
"what are your feeling towards me? I don't think you love me, is it true?" (and at the same time show some sad eyes - be cute)

Tell him how you feel and let him respond... If he loves you he will tell you, he may just be waiting for you to open up first...
