Elaine try to eat sensibly plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables 6 - 8 glasses of water daily. Start each day with a light breakfast of cereal and yogurt to get the metabolic rate burning calories all day.

Grill or steam your protein of either chicken or fish unless vegetarian. Cut down on salt intake, cut out alcohol, biscuits, cakes, chips and sweets, but don't deprive yourself totally have an occasional treat of something you enjoy.

Exercise with brisk walking 2 - 3 times per week for 20 min. Have a sauna 2 times per week sauna for 10 min followed by quick burst of cold shower - sauna for 10 min followed by quick burst of cold shower [this will get the circulation going detox the toxins from your body and you will have glowing blemish free skin].
.
I find using a toning table 2 - 3 times per week for 40 minutes firms the whole body. You feel nice and firm with better posture as well.

You'll have a wonderful slim image tousle.

Enjoy your self stop worrying you have nothing to worry about.

7lbs should not be too difficult to loose. Eat plenty of fruit and vegetables and avoid starchy foods like bread and pasta as well as saturated fats such as meat. Dring lots of water. Do not starve your self as some people here suggested. There is no reason to act in an unhealthy way about it. You could also try a body wrap from a beauty salon if you are having trouble right up to the end. The wrap only lasts for 48 hours max so do it just before your big day.

Hope you have a lovely wedding!

Focus on the goal. Toning is more important than the extra 7lb. I'm 5ft & 8st so in the same boat. I do martial arts & needed a boost to really work my bum/ thighs to kick higher. I recently discovered ankle weights, which you can buy from big sports shops. I now wear a kilo on each ankle all day at work under my trousers (apart from today however, too hot!).

They've really helped- try wearing a pair as much as possible & excercise every night by walking up & down the stairs with them on 30 times or so, whilst clenching your backside. You'll ache at first but it'll tone & burn.

Congratulations on the upcoming wedding! You can lose 2 pound per week by cutting about 500 calories from your daily eating and burning another 500 calories with exercise. That would be 8 pound in 4 weeks, so 7 is a good goal.

Eat healthy, lower calorie food, like lots of vegetables, grilled chicken, fish, fruits, and whole grains. Exercise by walking, running, dancing, aerobics, anything you enjoy that gets you moving. Drink lots of water and try to stay away from alcohol.

Get a gym ball, and do lots of exercise on that- it will come with a manual. Step works well but don't overdo it or you'll get big quads. Swimming is great for general toning of legs and bottoms. Cycling is another good one, but again, beware big quads! You can lose 7lb easy in 4 weeks- don't cut down food too much, but eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, and whole grains for sustained energy.

Here is the classic answer that will work for you: sensible meals and exercise. DO NOT follow any of those crazy fad diets. They aren't healthy and as soon as you stop them you will gain all of the weight back plus more.

Sensible healthy meals (3 a day) and healthy snacks (fruit & veg) plus lots of water is the way to go. Walking and running are both good cardio exercises that will assist in weight loss as well as toning.

Don't beat yourself up over your weight. Learn to love how you look or you will always be depressed.

Congrats on your wedding!

The best things that you can do is eat healthily, the best exercise that you can do that wont wear you out too much is walking, Try to walk wherever possible and try to avoid driving if you could easily walk there. This combined with the healthy eating and you should lose 2-3 pounds a week. It worked for me! Good luck and have a lovely wedding

Try not to eat too much carbs(rice,bread..etc).....eat smaller portions....but not too little...eat only what you need.....exercise daily...preferably an hour a day..do sit ups push ups and all that junk....swimming is good...its nice easy and relaxing....start off slow with the exercising...dont put a major strain on your body...start off doing like fifteen minutes a day...and when you feel confortable start increasing your time for exercise and then you'll be used to it :) ....drinks lots of water......drink like two glasses like half an hour before you eat .....remember to relax and like if your work is a couple of blocks away then walk ...dont take a cab or drive your car...every little thing helps....
anyway...think positive and dont make drastic changes in your eating habits like none of this or that....take it slow and look at it and ask yourself if you really need it...
have a nice wedding......

You need to perform toning exercises. In 4 weeks you can lose that amount of weight but not necessarily from your bottom and thighs. Don't eat any less during the 4 weeks, just concentrate on cycling or lots of sex with you doing a lot of squeezing. (I mean it, it works!)

This will work superfast if you stick with it - cut out every bit of sugar and white flour from your diet. No soda except diet, either. Try to take a walk every day and if you're worried about your bottom and thighs, I would do some squats, too. Eat protein when you're hungry instead of carbohydrates, and lots of veggies. You will look healthier, too, I promise~ it worked for me!
