I noticed that dogs eat grass to treat themselve when they are sick.So in my yard I have this blue something grass that I have to water everyday and apply bug spray every month or so.Will that make my dog sick

dogs eat grass in order for them to puke out what's bothering them inside. and yea that bug spray can harm it.

Look at the bottle of bug spray, under dangers, it should tell you if the ingredients are harmful to your pets. Odds are they are. Most tell you to spray and not allow the animals in the yard for a period of time. After that, is should be okay. So, basically follow the directions.

Of course the bug spray will make him sick. I plant wheat grass in a big tray so that they can eat out of the tray

my dog actually only eats certain grass, and she's blind but she picks out the same type of grass everytime.
about the poisens tho, maybe you should leave a little section un sprayed and if you notice your dog trying to eat the grass, lead him over to that area so he'll eat the untreated grass and not get any of the poison

Yes, any grass with bug spray on it is not good for any animal to consume. I know they sell seeds for cat grass at Wal-mart, I buy it for my cat all the time. But I don't know about grass for dogs.

yeah, im not sure if dogs can sense the poison since they're forever eating rat poison so unless u spray then no....bug spray and fertilizers will get them sick though

I never spray fertilizer in my backyard just to protect my dogs, because they do in deed eat grass.

your dog needs grass that you are able to grow and are really small.Or if it doesnt it then your dog might not like grass.maybeyour dog maybe allergice to grass.or the grass maybe something to it.it could have bugs.or it could have something to it.what i didi planted grass because it was going to be new and he liked it.you should try that.

Yes it will hurt your dog. If you stop putting bug spray on it it won't hurt him/her.
