I'm trying to send a word .doc with comments turned on. The other person can't see my comments. Why not? Thx!

Tell the person to click on the Tools menu and choose Options.

On the View tab select the check boxes for ScreenTips and Hidden Text.

He/she should now be able to see your comments.

They may have a really old version of Word that doesn't support it or they have comments disabled.

They need to turn their "view comments" on. View, markup.
