Those that know, know and those that don't, don't know at all. You will be clueless unless you are born again. There is a gulf of understanding that you can not bridge. You need to humble yourself before God and ask for his mercy.
I see in you a split personality, on one hand you want to know God and on the other you want to be in control of your life. It doesn't work that way. God has a program and he is the owner of all creation and we come humbly before him or we don't come at all. You will see in the future that you have no control over your own destiny and when you are given a chance, only you know if you will take it or not.. Think well what you do and say as your chance will come.
Rev 6:4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

No one knows 10% of what God wants, and they think they know 100% - and that's just the people that believe in God. That is the problem.
To me, the point is to have fun and try to get people to at least be able to see things from the perspective of others.

I don't find the conversations impossible. I do find them to be difficult at times due to a lack of tolerance.

conversations about religion aren't impossible they are only controversial. We all have our own views on what we believe and what we think. I could interpret the bible one way and you'll get it a complete opposite. It just takes understanding of others. Read for yourself, and you can't go wrong.

No one knows 100% about religion, period. So yeah, it's kinda pointless. Believe what you want to believe and go with that.

Yes, because alot of times, they just quote the Bible, and there is no guarentee that the Bible is real. Granted it's a good book to read at times, but it's not the answer to all in life that comes up.

I don't know 100% of what anyone wants. I think everyone should quit eating my pizza and get on with life. But they won't.. Damn commies.

No one knows even 0.0036% of what god may want, if at all.
I believe that faith and believing in something matters, not what you believe in, so yeah- arguments about religion ARE kind of pointless.

Jim, you already know what God wants. You spend your train rides reading the Bible, I know you haven't missed those parts.
