Ok, so there is this guy I have been in love with for 11 years&whenever I see him I clam up& pretend i haven't seen him &kick myself afterwards.he is extremely shy& once we have spoken2 each other for an hr or so he tells me that he wished he didnt have2 be drunk2 work up the courage to talk to me.We were seeing eachother for a couple of months when we first met &he ended it&was very reclusive and stuff.we kinda hooked up again for a few days a year later, then it was over again.i eventually married someone else. now that marriage is over.I saw my this guy at the beginning of this year &spoke2him.he told me that he had also gotten married. then it was time4 me2 leave& said that it was really nice talking2me& cornered my sister.he told her the reason he wasfunny with me all those yrs ago was because his dad had bn a heroin addict 4 20yrs& didnt know how to tell me.he also wanted me2know he was now divorced.what do i do?

well thers something else too. he tried 2 giv me his number but i gave him mine instead, and he hasn't called. i sort of knew he wouldnt call (shyness) and i dont see him often enough. and like i said, i clam up when he is around. a reaction i seem to have no control over. what should i say to him if i see him?

If both of you really like each other, why not give yourself a chance to start a relationship. For the past 11years, both of you don't dare to make a move by expressing your love for each other. 11 years is a long time, do you think you can have another 11 years before you express your love to him.

Sounds to me like u both like each other ..and yes in the beginning he was going thru some stuff he couldn't tell u about and that was his stuff to deal with, some ppl can't share certain types of hurt but he has now gotten thru that and moved on in life.... however NOW that u all have crossed paths again and u both sound like you're "free & single", what would getting to know each other again hurt?....
my mom, has friend who had this guy who was supposed to take her to her high school graduation and i think for some reason he didn't get to, later on they married other ppl, she has 4 kids and he has kids too but both their marriages are over and now they've found each other and they are now happily married to EACH OTHER ... i wish i was lucky enough that MY unobtainable guy could show as much interest as yours has....

it seems like you both like each other allot why not give it a try, for 11years you have both been denying each other why not stop running away and run towards what your heart desires, make the first move if he's been afraid that you would not like him for all these years because of what his father was then it means that he's been worried that it would affect his relationship with you he seems like a nice guy why not give him a chance best of luck
