im muslim and i know many christians and jews that i think are very nice people. the reason muslims dislike qadriaris, alavites, sufis and ishmaelits are because they are trying to corrupt the religon and make different versions of the religion, and that ruins the purpose of islam. as for the killings, that is against our religion, although many still do it maybe to try to be macho. but islam is against killing, remember thou shall not kill! yea, we follow that too!!! just because some people in the religion do bad stuff, does not mean that i or my loved ones or other muslims around the world should be stuffed in a category that you name for the bad ones. what about the kkk, who only wanted catholics and whites around??? or hitler, who happened to be a jew killing his own people, or what about the columbine incident, which included two boys promised that they could enter a terrorist isreal group to wipe out all people who were not jews? but they ended up killing themselves, which was initially not part of their plan. i can just keep going on and on, but the bottom line is that you really should not generalize because of a few bad apples. and also about the religion seperation, christians also do not like it when new versions of their religion are coming out, and the same goes for jews. so please, before you go around assuming things, open your heart to all the muslims that have also been killed and open your heart to all of us that live in america, and are called terrorists although we are americans. open your heart to the fact that many muslims died on 9/11. and open your heart to the fact that i am a muslim american who survived the world trade center attacks, but lost loved ones, and i am still to this day being called a terrorist.

i dont want to make this run longer than it already has, but have a nice day and may God open your heart to peace and seeing things from a brighter light.

Islam is a fantastic religion .The Koran teaches wonderful stuff. What I think is that sone people are just twisting the things that are written in the Holy Book, making their own interpretations and doing horrible things in the name of their religion. That is only "some" people who are doing it and creating such useless disharmony in the world. Why do these people have to do these things when they are so proud of their own religion???

Nothing is wrong with Muslims as a religous group. The problems you see on television or read about in the papers are very small factions of "Relegious Fanatics" who have mis-interpeted the Quoran (Muslim ver. of the Bible) or mis-represented it to achieve their own goal. You see the same level of fanatacism in every religion, including Christianity and Catholocism. No one religion is above reproach. Currently I'm serving in Iraq with the US Military, and I can tell you that with over 12 years of experiece in Muslim countries that they are a very friendly and accepting people, very devout in their faith. Do not let the actions of few hinder your perspective of many.

Actually the Baha'i religion is NOT an other small secular Islamic group. So the answer to your question:whats wrong with muslims? its not the muslims but the leaders of Islam.

Keep in mind that these radical Islamists represent only a small portion of the total Muslim population. Also keep in mind which religion started the Crusades, the Inquisition, witch trials, the Holocaust, and many other examples of intolerable cruelty.

Iran is a theocracy for a religion that holds women as subserviant to polygamist men and dictates the killing of all non-muslims (or non-Islamicists if you call the religion by that name). See the verse of the sword in the Koran.

The angel of the Lord also said to her: "You are now with child and you will have a son. You shall name him Ishmael, for the Lord has heard of your misery. He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone's hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers."
