I have been wanting to get my hair braided. How should I go about finding a good hair braider?

I don't know anyone who could do it. And I don't see many girls to ask them where that get their's done. Help please.

My personal selection for any "new" activities has been at a local beauty school; they are "up" on the latest in beauty care without the extreme rates that an experienced salon associate would charge. If you truly hate your new look, the teacher will try to fix it no charge.
