I'm 27 too and after about a month of growth mine seemed to look more like a beard than just stubble.
I'd say a couple of months before you'd get to the level of say Jeremy Beadle.

You can actually have a FULL beard in only a matter of weeks. BUT How long do you want this full beard. This could take months depending on how LONG you want it. But the initial full beard a few weeks. Good Luck
OH BTW Don't listen to emmie above me. SHE herself must have a problem with hair. I have had A FULL beard, A Van Dyke, A Go-Tee, Mustache ALL of them over a period of YEARS SINCE I have been discharged from the US Marines. And I have NEVER had ANY PROBLEM in getting girlfriends, and up to present a very beautiful wife. SHE HAS NO CLUE..

It depends, originally, how often you shaved.
If it was every day for a few years, or more, then the beard hair would naturally become thicker.
I have had a beard now for 12 years. I had to shave it off last christmas for a play, but it grew back in a couple of weeks.
I normally have to trim it every 2-3 weeks to stop it tickling my nose.

as a fellow male , and about ur same age ( well im 29 ), I was always wondering about beards, and started growing one , very slowly I must admit.
I have since found out, that the more often you shave your beard ( even if its real small ), the quicker and thicker the next one will grow - so if you keep shaving, you should notice it get thicker and grow faster, then when its growing at a good speed, just let it grow

The hair is not just a part of your body and it is a symbol of beauty, status and health. It is important for you to take proper care of your health in order to prevent early hair loss. Learn here https://bitly.im/aMwPk It is not a very serious problem and with a little bit of caution you will be able to prevent further hair loss. There are certain uncontrollable factors like pregnancy conditions or certain illness or genetic factors that will result in hair loss. But, this does not mean that you cannot do something about your hair loss.

About 2 - 3 weeks, Don't do it though, most woman are put off by beards. I think they make men look boring, don't hide your face, no woman wants to kiss a hairy face.

Don't do it! Beards are soooooo unnattractive and at your age, shame on you. Unless of course you are some sort of fundamentalist, they are required to have a beard.
