It is nearly impossible for nature to produce a "male" calico.
btw...I had a twenty (yes, 20) year old calico when she finally
succumbed to CRF a few years ago...RIP Maya.

However, as life would have it, you will, on very rare occasion, run into a male calico cat.
To further explain:
A genetic anomaly can occur where an offspring ends up with an extra sex chromosome producing the combination XXY. The XX of the XXY meets the requirement of the two X chromosomes needed to produce the calico cat characteristic's color and the Y of the XXY produces the male sex.
However, male calico cats are usually sterile and do not reproduce.

If anyone had a male calico it would be worth thousands. Calico's are always female - it's a genetic defect that actually creates the calico coloring, and it only happens in the females. Even a female calico's odd of producing a calico kitten are slim.

Calico is the same thing as patched and it's very very rare to have a male. I know someone who has one though. He is a male silver patched tabby. Go to the website below and go to the boys page, his name is Kye for Kyamisha (that's what male patched/calico cats are called)

I heard male calico's are called "money cats" and that they are always sterile. I believe it's something like .001% of all calicos are males...

I'll bet nobody does. It's theoretically possible for a male to be calico, but I've never heard of one and neither has anyone else I know.

I have never seen a male calico. If you find one, he will be worth alot of money. It is rare that a male occurs.

Calico cats are ALWAYS female!
