why do family love each other?

like why do i love my sister n brother is it because there related 2 me i always wonder that don't u what if i were 2 find out that my sister n brother adopted would still love the same these are things i think of from time 2 time do love your mother just because she your mother or your father for the same reason

It can be explained really simply. First off, you love your parents unconditionally instinctually as an infant and all throughout childhood, assuming that they cared for you well enough in your first year. (Think about most birds and Imprinting- that is when they hatch and instanly 'attach' to the first thing living creature they see, loving them as a parent and expecteing to be cared for by said creature. Ducks have been known to imprint onto cats, even).

Next, think about the 'mere exposure effect'. This theory states that simply by being near someone very frequently, you will become akin to their presence, and form an attachment to them.

Also, you are trained throughout your life to love your family. Our society guides us to do this, and we follow. You develop a relationship with them. You give and receive, you fight and make-up, you grow attached...

Plus, there is this natural and unexplainable human desire to be loved and to love... if you didn't do that with your family, you would have to go out and find brand new people to develop a whole new relationship with.
