It's between Hezbollah and Israel, not between Lebanon and Israel: the Lebanese are getting trashed because Hezbollah is there.

I had no idea that Filipino guest workers were in Lebanon. With so many Arab Muslims out of work all over the place, Lebanon needs guest workers? I guess the US is not the only country that has problems with immigration priorities.

The Israelis are once again terrorizing people in the ongoing effort to murder innocent people and take their land, as they have been doing for centuries. The American government is footing the bill because they want the oil rich land. Plain and simple. Next will be Syria and Iran. Do you really think this is over 2 Israeli prisoners? I think not. Israel has thousands upon thousands of Palestinian and Lebanese prisoners including women and children who are being held without reason. So if the Palestinian or Lebanese people fight back, it is terrorism, but if the Israelis or Americans fight, it is self defense. Such a double standard. I am not really concerned about the Filipino workers, I am more concerned about the innocent people dying.

First off, this is not between Israel and Lebanon. Lebanon has a very weak government with virtually no military muscle, especially in its southern region adjacent to Israel. This conflict is between Israel and Hezbollah, which has been building its anti-Israel forces there with support from Syria and Iran. They want to see Israel gone from the face of the map. I like no war but I do understand Israel"s response.

Israel is destroying lebanon trying to eradicate a terrorest sect called hezbollah. Hezbollah, does not represent lebanon as a whole, but does sit on the cabinet of the government. Israel feels lebanon has not done anything to stop hezbollah, so they are being held responsible. Unfortunately, this is turning more people in lebanon against israel (those who were not previously) as they feel they are caught in the middle.

The lebonese people will probably fight against israel in the near future, because they are destroying their country. Don't ask me why they wont fight against hezbolah.

No reason they couldn't be independently wealthy, I always thought they were because of all the electronics etc that they produce. Anyway, in the middle east, stupid people are killing each other a-gain. Same stuff, 40 years later...some people, you just can't reach...
