It is a serious problem that churches are silent about "political issues" such as homo "marriage" because they fear losing their tax free status ? A strong church would pay their full tax share and strongly speak out instead of doing the devils work with their silence !

Hi!

What a great question and suggestion....

Of the many denominations there are:

1. Backslidden churches who used to preach the gospel without compromise but now are filled mere knowledge of the bible and a good history. This kind of denomination no longer lives by the power of the Holy Spirit, they live by knowledge of the bible and songs that do not have an anointing of the Holy Spirit. Knowledge of the bible is different from having a personal relationship with the Person of the Holy Spirit. They often know the history of Christianity without to know the God of Christianity.

2. Churches that are involved in all sorts of occultic practices that of the devil e.g New Age Movement. This denomination uses the bible deceitfully....ofcourse they know that their members do not understand the revelations of the bible...so they twist everything in the bible to suit their cult practices.Such churches are lead by Satan himself! Usually, the leaders of such a church are the only people who know the secret of such a church, members are usually drawn by lucrative promises offered to them, but unfortunately they are being lead by Satan without knowing.

3. Churches that live in sin: These churches know the truth and the consequences of sin but always find a reason to live in sin. They do not have a personal hatred towards sin. To them, Christianity is a religion and they reason that "No one is perfect" so they live in sin with the confidence that God is all-forgiving. Such churches encourage young Christians to fall away by their lifestyle. In such churches, there is adultery, fornication, and immorality. Their members know about salvation but they don't live it. True seekers of God in such churches are often hated or disregarded by most members of such churches! True seekers of God are often pushed out in such churches. Most of the true Christians who oppose the works of this church often leave the church....and guess what! when they leave the church, the remaining sinning members often badname those people as if they had been rebellious to the authority of the church.

4. The Join-the-Club denominations: Such churches often have a lot of activities and meetings in the church that are not Christ centred. They believe in Christ alright but they have no Christ in them...kinda like "a demon believing in Christ".You know, demons believe that indeed Jesus Christ is the Lord but they refuse acknowledge His terms. Such churches often judge or gauge a person by his wealth. They honour the respectable people in their society even if they are not in Christ. They would even call the town major to attend their meetings so as to appear acceptable in the society. To them, pleasing man is more important than pleasing God.This kind of church wants to be associated with respectable people in the society more than Christlikeness.

5. Now there are churches that sincerely serve Christ such that they are NOT ashamed to preach against sin and unrighteousness. This church is not neutral or timid. It serves the Lord Jesus and take advantage of every opportunity to win many for Christ. Their love for Jesus Christ makes them to hate sin without fear of critisism from the unbelievers. Such churches often do not invest their finances into social work but to soul winning and deliverance of the captives of sin. In such churches, you usually experience the presence of the Holy Spirit and the miracles that Jesus Christ did in the bible. Their members often talk of Jesus as if they had just been with Him. Such churches are few, but they are available. Such churches often receive severe critisizm more than other churches. Satan hates such churches. Their members often look foolish to the world but they are filled with Holy Ghost. In such churches, true prophesies of the Holy Spirit are spoken by members and are fulfilled. In such churches, there is a different atmosphere of the Holy Spirit.O Yes, occasionally their members would commit sins but NOT as a lifestyle. In such churches, many find the true Word of God and Christ is preached in His fulness. In this church, diseases are being healed, demons are cast out of people.(It is amazing people do not believe that to cast out a demon ended with the bible times...the POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IS STILL AT WORK EVEN THIS DAY)

Your statements are exactly why there's separation of Church and State. I for one don't care to be living under some religious mandate that I don't agree with. SECULAR law is the law that should rule society and not some archaic, dated belief system based upon who knows what. With respect to the "homos" and marriage...Marriage is supposedly sanctioned by God (if there is one) and that's the only issue. I favor homo civil unions for just that reason...Take the God/Religion issue out of the picture and what's left...two people who regardless of gender preference LOVE each other and that's the bottom line. PEACE!

I agree fullyyt! I revealed a question a even as in the past entitled "what's inaccurate with the church of on the prompt?" I had made similar observations myself. the only reason the recent testomony church exists is to finish the great fee. yet it style of feels that maximum church homes on the prompt aren't to any extent further some thing better than social golf equipment which overlook with reference to the very purpose that they were created for. i'm grateful that we attend an self sustaining church that is fullyyt Bible dependent. there remains no opposite direction for someone to be kept than to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. each of the "good social intentions" in this international done through a church won't be able to and wont lead someone to a saving understanding of the reality. It grew to develop into obtrusive to me over the years that maximum church homes of on the prompt have "misplaced it" and they are going no the position. the easy actuality is that each body adult adult males have a determined favor for the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and maximum of them do not look to comprehend it. The blame for this falls squarely on the church because the great fee changed into only ever given to the church and no different body has the authority to carry it out. The Gospel message seems to have become distorted by using guy over the years and on the prompt we've a good purchase of nicely intentioned those who have not yet come to the understanding of the particular shown actuality that each body adult adult males harbor a situation which ultimately sends them to hell. it is talked about as "sin interior the flesh" that is a situation exceeded on to all adult adult males from Adam. Tragically on the prompt, the church has did not manage this challenge and for most, their church attendance has develop into no longer some thing better than a existence-form. I agree fullyyt with what you're saying.

I have found myself thinking along the same lines at times in my life. But churches and their members are not perfect. They try to do the best they can, but they goof too at times.

I think the most important thing is to have a personal relationship with God. If you and He are on the same page, then it doesn't really matter what church you attend. Church is to fellowship with other Christians, but you should be in charge when it comes to making sure that you are getting closer to God.

Please don't think that because some church goers are bad, that God too is bad. He loves you. Keep the faith!

You are so right! I've been saying so for years, but this is one issue where the churches will not trust the Lord and do good.

The churches where I am are worthless... Three of them that I initially went to are corrupt and am very very sorry that I tithed to them.. Others are clubs that have no moral value
