He probably is a virgin or he is asamed of how many women hes been with....probably he is a virgin though and he probably wonders if you'll look down at him for it.

Is the reason you want to know because you want to know whether he is high risk for a disease for being with too many partners and he might be a player? Or is it he's lacking in experience in the bedroom? If it's the former, probably too late. If it's the latter, tell him how you like it. If it's neither, why worry? Trying to win a competition? And have you told him how many guys you've been with????

When my husband was my boyfriend he lied and told me he was with one other girl, but after we were together for a while he fessed up that I had taken his virginity...I think I knew but until he told me I was in the dark.

My advice is not to worry about how many people he's been with, but ALWAYS practice safe sex and if you haven't in the past, go for a free, confidential STD test--not something to be embarrassed about, just keeping it clean. You may even suggest going together. (That might get him to tell you the truth).

It has been my experience that you probably would be better off not knowing.... no way to get disappointed whether it has been just you or a bunch of other people. Save yourself the effort and forget about, if he wants you to know then he will tell you but you dont want to ruin your relationship over details from the past.

As much as your curiosity bugs you you probably really dont want to know.. if you where his first then yes he may be ashamed and not want you to know hes inexperienced.
if not he may think your gona get upset about how many other girls hes been with.
ignore what other people say only he knows the truth..
dont bug him over it and eventually it will come up and he'll tell you
good luck

He may be shy to make you think he was never liked by a girl before you. Or, he may have had another before you, but he is afraid you may be hurt by the knowledge you were not his first...

Anyway, don't press him. When he is ready, he will tell you. and if he doesn't - is it really that important? I mean, he is with you now, and the past is way back!

Not to repeat what the others have said I'll bring up another point.

What would change if you knew his number? If he said he had only been with you, or he had been with 30, would you feel any differently about the relationship? Would you love him more if his answer matched with your ideal number of partners?

...somethings are better left alone.

Don't ask, don't tell. If you are happy together, what does it matter? If it WASN'T just you, you don't want to know. If it WAS just you, he'll eventually tell you if you stay together. Don't make a big deal out of it, cause if you were his first he may be a little embarrassed. You don't say how old you are, so I have to guess..... Good luck.

well since he wont tell you, you would have no choice but to believe the cousins and friends. I thought 2 things 1. he has slept with an enormous amount. 2. you were his first

Does it really matter?

the question shouldn't be how many partners, but have you ever contracted any STD's from any partners. His past relationships shouldn't matter. Who he is as a person should. If you were only asking in regards to your safety fine, but if you just wanted to know out of curiosity...Let it go.

Tough question- How old are you anyway?? If you two are of an age where STD,s come into it(and if you are having s-x then you are). How many boys have you been with. Have you told him?? It is important that both of you have no problems with STD's. If he says no maybe he is embarrassed. But you and he both need to be honest.
