I am in Lex, NC... for infants its running anywhere from 95.00-135.00 a week... Toddlers are normally 80.00-100.00. .... BUT!!! If they are not registered they are only allowed to keep 2 unrelated children for more than 4 hours a day... Anymore than that and you have to be registered by the state!! Best of luck to ya darlin... I have felt the daycare paying pain before....

In Dallas/Ft. Worth (Texas), it ranges from $ 95 to $200 a week.
It's really ridiculous, but you don't want your kid to be bored all day. The higher end D.C.'s tend to have more learning programs and extra curricular activities. I've tried both and the kids do like the entertainment of the more expensive, of course. How could you not when there a clown every Friday, and firehouse field-trips. So I fork out the dough every week. It's worth it because my Lil one likes to go to school and that is a good attitude to instill when they are young.

Damn where you live that's cheap! Does that include meals and snacks? For a franchise daycare it's about $225/wk...for a in home daycare $150/wk. It also depends on how old the children are. The first daycare I said about was for my daughter's age (16 months). I do the in home daycare. There's more reason for my sitter to give more attention to my daughter's needs. (if she had any). And she is also licensed...Some in home day cares aren't licensed which can present a problem.

My son is 2 and I pay $85 per week for daycare. Which is rather cheap in south florida. I use to pay over $120 per week until I switched to a better daycare.

$170.00 a week. Now mind you, this is only for afterschool. I drop my child off at school, but the Daycare picks her up from school at 2: 45, transport her to their site, give her a snack(sometimes), keep her until I get her at 6:00.
This state is over-priced and under paid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The average in Southeast Ga. is $90.00 per week, $120.00 if you want the REALLY good sitters, and if it just a few hours a day, $15.00-$20.00 an hour.
