Yes, although I use chopsticks almost every day too.
I know of a 6 year old who works for my girlfriend who doesn't know how to use utensils because he's grown up on fast food.

They are okay. Sometimes chopsticks are better and I love to use my fingers in Indian style. Try it, you'll like it!
