If we are all gods children then surely mary, one of those children, gave birth to the son of god suggesting god had nefarious characteristics

the point was god must have fertillised mary's egg in some way and therefor interfered with one of his children

I'm not sure Christians will appreciate your inference that there is 'something wrong' with God.

Btw, the messiah according to Judaism was not supposed to have been the product of a virgin birth. The messiah was supposed to have been a human being, born of human parents.
