That's something that can be done by the regedit function.
However, I wouldn't recommend your doing this because you don't seem to have the necessary expertise and you could damage your Computer.
Please have somebody who really knows Computers with you when you try this.
Go to Start. Run. Type in regedit. Click Browse.
The registry Editor panel will open up. You have the Hot Key configurations there with little boxes with the + sign on them to the left.. Click on the +sign and the folders will drop down. Click on the + sign to the left of each folder and the sub-folders will drop down. Carry on doing and all the sub-sub and sub-sub-sub-sub folders will drop down.
For Heavens sake, do not alter anything here without knowing what you're doing because, chances are that your computer will crash beyond repair if you make a mistake here.
All the best.

Microsoft's SyncToy helps you copy, move, rename, and delete files between folders and computers.
The program is free to download. You will need Windows XP with Service Pack 2 installed.

You can download a google toolbar that acts as a database. You get a box on you taskbar. Type something in that box and it searches you computers hard drives first and then the internet. It indexes the hard drive - so quite fast at finding stuff.
