you dont need brand name or expensive clothes to win a guy over. You need confidence and a good personality.
It really isnt about what you wear but how you wear it. If you know you look hot everyone else will see it.

It doesn't matter what it costs. If it's cute, which it must be or you wouldn't have your eye on it, cost shouldn't matter. Just do your hair, makeup, etc to look nice. Guys don't usually even notice what you're wearing. Wear it proudly, don't slouch down and act like you're ashamed. Act confident and carefree. Bet you'll be surprise to see how many compliments you get on your dress. Most of all don't complain about it or tell all the others how much it costs or where you got it. You must be pretty special anyway, to think of your brother and sister before yourself. With that kind of attitude you will look great. Just go and have fun.

Hun, it's not always just the clothes that make an outfit. Put in a nice pair of earrings, a necklace, dress it up a bit. If he's into your clothing more than you, then he really isn't worth it!

If the dress is cute and doesn't LOOK cheap, it will be fine. Wear nice shoes and the right accessories and you will look lovely! Just don't tell them the dress was $20.00 and they will never know the difference.

Why do you have to wear brand new clothes? And I agree with the answer that said he will be looking at you and not the dress.

Your confidence and ability to have a good time are more important then what you wrap the package in. Trust me - he will be looking at your eyes, your mouth, YOU not your dress.

don't worry about it. just have a good time. as long as you are having FUN i wouldn't care if you were wearing your grandma's clothes. for all i know, that's part of your charm.
p.s. - the guy is going out on a date with you so, apparently, you've already left a good IMPRESSION on him. just be yourself and don't worry about shiattt!!!
