We are constantly calling/emailing our Congressmen. As you know, Chris Cannon of Utah won in the Primary. He put out a blitz of ads, after having President and Mrs. Bush here to smooth things over with the Republican powers that be....and the ads were all about how tough he is on illegals.

Sadly, people believed. They didn't look at his voting record. His opponent was a Conservative that supported the philosophy of the link you posted. Chris Cannon, for being an incumbent, didn't win by much...but oh, how they crowed!

Within hours of winning he was spouting his old "Bush Amnesty" speech, leaving many who voted for him speechless. What audacity!

He is not in our district, but our energies are being put with the Democratic hopeful who is strong against Amnesty and refuses to coddle the illegals position.

We are angry with our Attorney General, Mark Shurtleff. We got into an e-mail "spittin'" match yesterday. He has two years left on his term, but we've begun plans to educate the public. We figure he will have to spend a thousand dollars for every ten we spend exposing him....

Don't give up. The victory and security of our nation depends on staying power. We must continue and not let up for a moment.

Its a filp view..... I'm a USA citizen born and raised here... It's actually quite funny... See our "founding fathers" came to America to find freedom from religion and politics..... But then the Native Americans were here first, So in a way our founding fathers were immagrants and forced the Native Americans to move and then had war with them till there are barely any left.. So if you are against the illegal immagraton you are kinda going against your founding fathers

Hundreds of thousands DID call their congressmen. That's why the Senate bill to merge the country with Latin America failed.

That bill granted amnesty to illegals who file tax returns for at least 3 of the last 5 years. THEY GET TWO YEARS FREE!!!

So I called my idiot senator who voted for it and asked his assistant if I could get my last two years in taxes back. She wasn't very polite.

For some reason this morning the philosophy of dyboy34 makes a lot of sense to me. This squabbling has got to give. This category makes no sense anyway. Too many personal agendas and games going on.

This link is occasionally posted which is great. I suggest that you click on the link and express your opposition to illegal immigration. Remind your reps that you are a registered voter who expects them to carry the voice of the majority.

I have been writting letters to members of congress in my state as well as to the governor since I was thirteen (now 20), but they always write back either referring the letter to another organization or saying there is nothing they can do to solve my issue. (and actually, just in case you didn't know, they probably have interns opening the letters/emails.)
