No. You put god in small letters, which is good. Because it is small letter "god" I want to answer you on. People always create something 'greater' than themselves to follow. If you look at the huge portraits of the leaders plastered all over walls in the middle eastern countries, then you need to realize that these men are using their image as a 'god' for their people.
Or an 'idol' if you will, or an 'iconic' image. They use these images to associate the leader with their religion, and their religion with their leader. It is the last part of that which is important. For in associating their religion with their leader they follow him as a god figure. All through history rulers have associated themselves with gods. They become the living form of the god, or the consort of the god. This goes back at least as far as Sumeria and continues to the present day. It's a part of human nature and powerful men understand how to play on it.

Without God there would be nothing, much lest peace in the middle East. I know that there are people that do not believe in God but I cannot imagine my life without HIm.

Its not the God who is the root of the problem in Middle East. The problem are the people who are using His name for their own interests.

There are no Jehovah or Allah "gods".

Making war is strictly a human and chimpanzee occupation. Male chimps are inclined toward exactly the same type of aggression as human males are, but chimps aren't cunning enough to attribute their behavior to the defense of their ape deities.

If there was no religion. God (if there is one) makes no difference. It's how and what people believe that causes the strife. PEACE!
