My friend hired a date and everyone found out and they teased her about it so dont do that. Don't feel bad about being single you just havent found the one yet. I know alot of people that are single and they have loads of fun. Think of it like this if you bring a guy it would weigh you down by having to spend every second with him since hes a guest and he dosent know anyone. Just have fun!

You know what lol..I seriously would have done that lol!!! I mean i totally understand. These days Everybody has partners and all...soo unfair. I'm always the single one at parties and hang outs..huh..so if you really think that it will stop them from taking, go ahead and ask a friend or someone who at least knows you a little so she can answer questions..yep there will be questions lol. But if you think that no matter what they will keep yapping...no need to bother lol.
Hope things turn out great ;)
Take care.

So you want to hire an 'escort' so you don't feel like odd man out. Is that really such a wise idea, to bring someone along that you don't reallly know from Adam? I know it was used as a plot line for a movie, but in real life - bad idea! What about bringing a friend along?

You could if you want to but it's not the same as finding that one you really click with so I'd not let it bother you because you'll get the right one some day and you younger sis and brother will have had many dates or girl and boy friends by then . Just my opinion.

NO NO NO, whatever you do, dont hire a date. can you imagine the reaction if anyone found out! you shouldnt feel pressured to bring a date. have fun at your family do and let everyone know how happy you are. then they wont even notice your single.

Don't hire a date, that will be awkward. Just ask one of your friends to go with you and make it easier to handle. And don't worry about ur brother and sister I'm sure those relationships aren't that serious so you have no reason to feel badly about it

Oh be yourself! You dont have to fake the funk. Its no big deal not having a mate all the time. Tell your mother you are currently enjoying your single life and when the time is right you will be with the woman of your dreams.

Yeah - bad idea, and probably too expensive.
You are not guaranteed to 'get' someone you like.
Just go solo/stag and you'll be happier than being with someone (your date) that you don't know or don't like...
Is it a wedding? Pick someone up there? Single girls at weddings are easy targets!

well...if you can pull it off, it will get your mum off your back...
did you ever see "The Wedding Date?" She hired a date for the same reason...it worked out alright.
Do whatever makes you feel best about yourself.
